Liz Harfull is highly respected for her skills as a public relations consultant, specialising in rural and environmental communciations.
Over the years, she has won numerous awards for her work, including three prestigious national Golden Target awards from the Public Relations Institute of Australia for marketing and community communication campaigns. She was a recipient of the first national Golden Target award given specifically for environmental communications, for her work on the national Horticulture for Tomorrow initiative.
Liz has provided strategic counsel on communications and community consultation to leading rural research and development organisations, federal and state government, private agribusiness, and a diverse range of state and community-based programs.
As a Churchill Fellow, she travelled to six countries studying communication tools and strategies which encourage landholders to take up new technology and best practice. She has travelled overseas on a regular basis to explore rural issues in other countries, and maintains access to diverse national and international networks in rural media, communication and agribusiness.
